ID3-tag editor / music libaray manager
I would very much appreciated an option to delete songs on my ipod as well as to rename them and change tags such as artist/album/skip on random play and so forth.
I think having such an app would fill a gap.
What do you people think?

I think this is a good idea, maybe you could integrate it with iPod.app.
Like that you have a extra button to change things, also you could delete the songs just like in Videos.app. I think this is a good idea!

Hello
Hey, as in my concern, you can use an app on your computer for batching naming/deleting your music from your ipod. I use Zortam (all-in-one Mp3 application that contains Mp3 ID3 Tag Organizer for searching and cataloguing Mp3 files into Mp3 library, editing ID3v1 and ID3v2.4 tags) and I managed to organize all my music from my player;
you just have to connect it to your computer and then use the app.I love Zortam for the fact that it has autotagging from a large database and I updated all my music's tags as the ones mentioned by you.
You can try it.

Yeah! Sometimes whenever I get music from shared sites, the song name is wrong, and I don't realize it until I'm jamming out to it on my iPod. By the time the song is over, I'll forget. This is a great idea. I can't believe I didn't think of it first.

I use copytrans... he can multiedit your tracks, make different folders, pull different songs together into a same compilation (like if you want to make a "mixed tape" sort of folder).
