A Call to programers! We need an on going chat program!!!
Apollo and mobile chat are dead!! Is anyone working on a new chat client for the phone? These 2 programs are grossly unstable, and have constant connection problems (go link dead and dont even let you know etc).
Ill even donate!!!

I've been using aim on mobilechat. It still works perfectly and did not have any problems....

The problem I have with them BOTH is that they disconnect, but dont actually log you off. No one sees you online, but your phone makes you appear that you are still loaded up. This might have something to do with Edge constantly changing its IP address, who knows.

twitter.com/dale1vMicrosoft owns the internet through Hotmail. The .HTML is short for Hotmail, so all .HTML files are MS files.

I hope they both make a comeback or at least apollo does with some of the features in mobilechat (w/ eventual y! support).

I've been using meebo, and it works pretty good...not exactly full-featured, but works with many IM services, and runs good on the iPhone...

hooray for a new iRC client that will be coming out soon. As for the other programs, for other clients, I can only wish. Once the SDK is released though, I'm sure JiveTalk (www.beejive.com) will have a stand alone client, though it will definately be pay.

We need a new chat program
someone should make a actual chat program similar to ichat. Both mobilechat and apollo crash constantly and lack basic features like making a custom away message, adding, deleting and blocking screen names, who is on a cell phone and other stuff. Meebo and Flickim are okay but no one likes to just leave safari open. A chat program just for iphones would be pretty cool like the blackberry does
8gb 1.1.1. Iphone Hacked and unlocked with At&t?:confused

yeah this is extremely necessary but i really dont see anyone pulling off a decent IM native app until after the SDK. that being said...pls do it anyway
