Soft sleep/wake/power button??

I'm in need of a soft power button. My power button does not work, anyone know of an app for this or be happy to develp one?? Or how about just a restart button, my phone loves a good restart.

i dont think there is a soft sleep/wake button yet but there is a soft home button.
also if you install the sysinfo app it has a reboot button in it.

im also curious if your iphone is off how do you turn it back on. is the only way to plug it into your computer

Download Term-vt100 from installer.

Type the following:
launchctl stop com.apple.SpringBoard - Restart the springboard.

reboot - restart the ipod/iphone.

the sysinfo app actually restarts the phone so you dont really need the power button.
