I e mailed the creator of pocket tanks with the request of formating the game into an iphone app and here was the reply.

There have been an unusually large number of requests for PTanks in the iPhone. I’m not exactly in a position to port to that platform at the moment, since we are focusing heavily on adding online support. Perhaps after that we’ll have a chance to explore the possibilities of an iPhone version.
