hey,
i was wondering, is there any app for the iPhone that hack wifi keys?

Im not sure if im aloud to post this here so sorry if its against the rules.
I have yet to receive my iPhone as yet (getting it at christmas, yay!)

so im not sure if there is such an app, but it would be really cool if there was something to allow you to gain access to a wifi spot that has security enabled (my neighbors)

Eh, I don't think so. It's hard to crack WAP keys..

Even if there was, it would be a battery hog. It takes a lot to sniff then brute. It would take a long time too...

wat about an ip sniffer...an app that picks up all the ips connected to a given access point?

Im sure everything will be available once linux is ported to the iphone.

And its not illegal to sniff packets, but it is illegal to do anything with them ie. attempt to brute force or try to crack any algorithms.

alot of wifi's that have #'s seems to have admin as pass? i put admin in most of my passwords and it works! it connect but i dont seem to connect well enough. i was wondering if maybe im just accessing some settings feature or really getting connected.

there is a wifi cracker for the iphone it's called touchair it's a version of aircrack-ng for the iphone if you google touchair.rar you'll find it and for video help youtube touchair if you use WinSPC like i did make sure you check "set group, owner and permissions recursively" but can someone tell me how i can keep from having to type "/var/aircrack/" every time i hate it

Heck,
I wouldn't mind being able to just capture the packets and then later decrypt the information that way. I mean I know most of the places anyway where I go for WIFI, so If I wanted to access that AP later on I guess I could.

I hope this script gets modified for packet injection & things.

all you have to do to run your program (i'm assuming your doing it on the iphone/ipod's terminal), is type the first two letters, then press tab
(tab is located by pressing and on the terminal screen, then a circle will come up, and "tab" will be located on the bottom left of where you pressed)
