Aol Instant Messanger on the iPhone

I have searched for a few programs, but nothing really seems available now, like fring or FlickIM.

I am using beejive, but that isn't as fluid as I would like. Is there a better alternative? I am surprised no one has really requested aim for the iPhone.

EDIT: I am using the $5.99 EDGE .

I was about to say I am using the $5.99 edge proxy. If I am right, those both don't work with the proxy hack.

The "Fring" Beta is awesome! I like the fact that I can have my Yahoo & Aim contacts all at once, so it allows me to use both programs together.

Why not just try it out? It's pretty sweet.

The only problem with apollo/mobile chat is that it dosent suspend the application when yuo hit the home key, it just logs you out. Now what they should do is use the feat. that iSlsk (the song downloading app for the iphone) has because even when you lock your phone and suspend the application its still connected to there server and able to download the song

Just wait until 2.0 comes out and you have Apple's IM app, MobileChat/Apollo, and probably Beejive and Meebo come out with native apps...
