SMS - e-mail warning

What iPhone is really missing is something simple found on every Blackberry, LED that flashes from time to time to warn about not viewed SMS or e-mail. Tiny sound with it would easy to do in iPhone since there is no LED that can do this purpose.

why do people have to be sarcastic? He is just asking for there to be an app that reminds you that you have a new sms, or email incase you missed the initial beep/vibrate... I think its a cool idea. I think an app like this might already exist though. check installer

there is a new update to the iLog app that will either vibrate or sound or both at a user set interval to alert you of missed calls or SMSs... check it out. As far as for emal, dont think so.

There is already one called SMS Notifier, it makes the phone vibrate every 15 seconds if you have an unread SMS or mail. However, I don't think it's compatible with 1.1.2-4, just 1.1.1 I used to use this and love it back in the day.

vibrating every 15 seconds seems a bit much though... and say your away from your phone, thats gonna drain the battery... with the iLog you can make it do it every 5 mins, or whatever... and not only does it vibrate, it sounds off too... or you can do one or the other. Just my .02 cents

The latest version of INTELLISCREEN now has an option for ALERTS, which allows you to set alerts for MISSED CALLS, TEXTS & EMAILS... it allows for you to be alerted with sound, vibrate or screen flash, or a combination of all 3. This also has an option to make it alert at different time intervals... and it also adds new icons to the task bar for missed calls, sms and email. Amazing app

reznor9 - I just tried to install it through Cydia and I got an error message (sorry I didn't write it down). Is there another way to get this? or any other program.
