as with itunes it would be cool if there was a way of seeing what is most played on the iphone.
I use my ipod all day and it would be cool to see whats most listened too.

have you tried looking under your playlists; because there is actually a "top 25 most played" list in there along with "my top rated." if you star rate your songs and a "recently played" list, all giving the past 25 played/rated/over played songs

these are itunes playlists.
im talking about a play count thats seperate to whats played in itunes (iphone exclusive)

Ive synced the most played 25 to my phone and its an exact copy of whats played in itunes, but when looked at on the phone it doesnt give you how many times each track is played, just whats in the list.
what the iphone needs is a top 10 most played, showing how many times its played, artist and track title.

you want to get the mobilescrobber program and then get a last.fm account. I did that and now whenever i go online with my ipod it sends my statistics about the songs that were played to my last.fm account!!!! check it out cren110’s Music Profile – Users at Last.fm I think that's exactly what you are looking for
