    I heard about the SDK being released Februrary 2008, so then developers can write native apps for the iPhone and the iPod touch. Is this true? If so, then I really don't find the need to jailbreak it.

    Um, the release is in February, which is 3 months away. Not to mention the time frame to create and release applications. I'll do mine now.
