What would you do with Windows Mobile? Soon the iPhone will have more apps than the Windows cell phones will.

Well yeah, but are there programs on the Windows Mobile that won't be available for the iPhone? =(. Hopefully not.

Why, windows mobile will soon be beat by "Leopard Moible" Once 2.0 comes out.. WinMo is DEAD

I think it might work. Like Lunux could work. Sounds interesting... But would be easier to dual boot rather than an emulator.

Eh, dunno why you would want it. But I guess, why did I bootcamp my Mac. Coz of compatibility. Would have its advantages, but is so slow and has a horrible interface...

I think it is possible but emulating it would make it a lot slower. It would be more for show. However, with the iPhone SDK they will eventually be able to do everything that a Windows Mobile device can do and more.
If anything was usefull a thanks would be great!

sdk is controlled by apple meaning you cant publish any thing you want... its not open source... windows mobile is open source...
also if you could boot in WinMo then it wont slow you down that much... also parallels doesnt slow down macs that much

idk... what else do you think they will add... app store, windows exchange, a fancy calculator, maybe contact search, and maybe better graphics... thats about it

Macs are more powerful than iPhones. Dual booting would be the best way to get this working. iPhones support better graphics. I haven't use WinMo much but I'm still not a huge fan of it... using it, just feels unstable...

We can only hope that maybe Apple catch on and make copy and paste features, better bluetooth support, IM, flash, and much more that it lacks and it could be the best phone on the market if it supported it...
If Apple addressed these situation appropriately then there sales would rocket. I know heaps of people that wont buy because of the lack of necessities...

the main attraction is that is open source... iphone is not... dual bootin is probably the way to go

Well think about it. App store will have so much cool stuff that'd never be on or wouldn't be as fun on WinMo. Lets take Super Monkey Ball for example. On the iPhone, you will be able to tilt the iphone ever which way, and have full control.

Exactly, WinMo would only taint the iPhones perfection. There are so many more advantages of the iPhone over WinMo.
I jut think it would be interesting if someone could do it, not that I would actually do it if it became publicly available.

i know teh iphone has 1000 + advantages over WinMo... Thats for sure im not arguing that... but just because iphone has 1000 (for example) over WinMo doesnt mean that WinMo doesnt have 100 of so... think it would be a cool idea that would be helpful

Although the possibility probably isnt there and including the fast fact that I love Apple more.... But you cant deny that most people and companys are using windows machines. I impose that instead of creating a dual boot OS we make most office program documents campatible and editable on iPhone/iPod Touch... lol I would like the ability for on the go editing... Like iPhone Excel!!

    (I can dream, cant I?)
