A Video Voicemail Clone (for those of us who don't have AT&T)
I am with T-Mobile and love how I get almost all the benefits of the iPhone without any of its drawbacks; 2 year contract, iPhone specific plans that are too expensive, edge internet costing more than 20$ (instead of 5.99 T-Zones) and many more. The only thing that I am jealous of is the visual voicemail feature. Is it possible to write an application that mimics visual voicemail?

There's a company called Simulscribe - scratch that, they are now called Phonetag, that offers a service to text you your voice-mail messages. Check them out at Phonetag dot com....
