I need a sideways texting keyboard!

I am in desperate search for a sideways keyboard app for the SMS application on the iphone. Its basically the same as the internet browsers sideways keyboard, cause i am devoloping serious cramps in my fingers because of texting. If theres any info, or app that is available for this please let me know thanks a million. I sam running jailbroken 1.4 iphone.

but for so many request... im amazed we havent seen something like this. Even after seeing something like the notes IME thing, i havent used it but from what it looks like, it does look like an addon of the sort... so im amused that we havent seen anything like this yet; being an addon or seperate program for texting...

Ill be honest with you, I dont think it would be much good. You would not be able to see the messeges, the sideways keypad fills up all but about 1" of the screen. Thats just the keyboard alone. Add in a line for you to write in text that will cut it down to about 1/2". Now how much conversation can you actually see in a 1/2" tall area? 1 line maybe 2 lines? It seems like a great idea because of the bigger keyboard, but if you think about it, it just doesnt seem feasible.

You would just not be able to see any converstion so it would make the whole point of conversational text style pointless.

i was thinking the same thing, however if they made it change between the horizontal and vertical views, you would be able to read it in the vertical view, turn it horizontally and text with the wide keyboard, thats the type of program i was hoping for, it would be much better

Has there been any kind of update to this ? I would really like this addon myself, if one exsist or might one day exsist.

I would love this for notes-to make it easier to type my notes down faster. I dont really need to see a conversation then.
