10-27-2007, 03:30 PM #1The BEST Feature EVER!! Left out of the iPhone?
I have an idea for an application for the iphone:
A vibrating feedback feature for when the keys are pressed.
Basically every time you press a key the phone vibrates. The feature is found in the new LG Viewty, and i think it would be awesome! They (C|Net) say it feels like you’re actually pressing a key on a regular keyboard (kind of).
Is it possible?? Anyone...

That would be cool if you like charging your battery every few hours

No offense, but that's not something I would want. Once you get used to using an iPhone, that sort of tactile feedback doesn't seem necessary.

i read an article a while back about how scientists are working on tactile feedback for touch screens, now that would be cool!
while the iphone touch screen is pretty sweet and feedback isnt neccessary (in fact i turned off the click on text input), it would definately be something cool for later on down the line
sorry for the negative opinions from those above me, i think that most ideas are welcome because someone may expand on them and come up with something really cool and useful"The glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time you fall."

If done properly, I would hope it would simulate the haptic feedback on some recent devices.

My sister's LG Chocolate has this feature also, I would like to see it as well... But I didn't think bout the battery issue, although the Chocolate doesn't seem to be affected by that issue... Oh well, i asked over and over at ericasadun.com and she doesn't respond yes or no, so I don't think it's even possible...

That magna program already has it, it just needs to be implemented in all the programs. I have always thought this would be a great idea. With an option to turn it off, all the other people can stop being *****'s.

i agree, this would be neet. i think i'll probably get annoyed and turn it off eventually but its not a bad idea at all. i think its highly doable too, atleast in my mind
