Over the years, many different "shooters" applications for PDAs and other hand held devices have been developed. However, none these software are compatible with the iPhone nor the iPod Touch.

These applications allowed shooters to tap on a spot on a virtual target and the score of the shot would be tallied up for them. Some of the better versions are "OnTarget" and "Score Book". "OnTarget" is an app which displays a picture of a target which you simply tap on to mark a 'hole'. "Score Book" on the other hand is a score sheet on which you enter the score manually into a grid. Although the "OnTarget" does feature a score sheet, the feature is no match for "Score Book".

The 'shooting community' would much appreciate a NEW iPhone app which has the capability of displaying a zoom-able virtual target as well as a score-sheet option.
