Default Unable to use 3G after downgrading to 05.13.04 on 3GS running 6.1.3
    Hi there,

I've recently jailbroke and unlocked my iPhone 3GS running 6.1.3 by downgrading first to the iPad 6.15.00 baseband and then again to the 5.13.04 baseband, and then unlocking via ultrasn0w.

All went just swimmingly, all functions working, able to make calls, however when I try and use 3G or mobile network, despite the icon being displayed, it doesn't work.

For example, in Sparrow upon refreshing my inbox, it say's "No Network".

The phone was originally on Orange and I am now using giffgaff if that makes any difference.

If anyone has any idea what could be cause of this or are able to point me in the right direction, I would be more than grateful,

    Many thanks,

I'd start by uninstalling and reinstalling MobileSubstrate and ultrasn0w (rebooting your phone both immediately following the uninstall and reinstall). If that doesn't work, you may need to reflash the 05.13.04 baseband via redsn0w again.

You might also check to see if that carrier needs you to input manually APN settings.

Guys, don't forget location. Bad reception will take you down to 2G or edge!
