Default 3GS New BR on 6.1.2
    Hello!

I got a 3GS wich was supposed to be unlocked, so I updated it to 6.1.2
Then I realized, that it wasn't unlocked.

    It's not a AT&T version, so I can't unlock it via IMEI.

    What can I do?

I read something about downgrading to iOS 4.1 (still singed?), unlock it (with ultrasn0w??)..downgrade baseband and then update to 6.1.2 via snowbreeze. It that correct?

    How is the right procedure?

I'm now donwloading 4.1 iOS, and have already downloaded redsn0w 0.9.15b3

    Thanks!
    Oliver.

The only way to get it software unlock is to update to iPad bb. Jailbreak n install ultrasn0w to unlock.

Why not just factory unlock the phone and avoid the hassle of messing with the jb and baseband downgrade and the issues that come with it? $10 and your iphone is ready to go within 24 hours
