am i doing something wrong

i saved my ssh with tiny and tiny saved it as iphone3,3-6.0gm.shsh and i dl iPhone3,3_5.1.1_9B206_Restore.ipsw. i wanted to stich them together but everytime i do redsn0w says thoes blobs dont appear to match the ipsw build so am i doing something wrong???

Try using my little guid I typed up a few days ago... I'm assuming Cydia has ur blobs also stored...

This is what I do on my 3GS... I think this works for a 4...

I'm assuming you do not unlock. You will lose your unlock if you do this exact method.

1. Download stock iOS 5.1.1 IPSW.
2. Download redsn0w 0.9.14b2
3. Run redsn0w as administrator in windows.
4. Click Extras button.
5. Click SHSH blobs button.
6. Click Query button to see what blobs Cydia has for device.
7. If Cydia has required blobs, Click Stitch button.
8. Click IPSW button-browse for downloaded 5.1.1 IPSW file.
9. Click Blobs-Cydia button to stitch remote Cydia stored blobs to IPSW.(or could do local if you have
them local).
10. Let Process and finish. It will take a few minutes.
11. Click Back button-Click Pwned DFU to put in pwned DFU mode-follow onscreen instructions.
12. Once in pwned DFU mode, close redsn0w, launch iTunes.
13. iTunes will see device in "recovery" mode. Click Check button.
14. Hold down Shift key, click Restore button. Browse to that stitched IPSW file
you created.Select it.
15.Wait for restore to finish as normal. JB as normal(or not)...Enjoy!

well first i want to say is that i dont have any problems with my phone i just want to know that i have everything working just in case.... cydia does not have my blobs saved yet.

Well...when u open Cydia what blobs does it say u have? They r across top of main page...

Hmm... Is this GSM or CDMA iPhone 4?... IE. AT&T or Verizon...

Makes a difference..make sure ur using right IPSW...

Well..I just re-read ur original post... Looks like u said tiny saved 6.0gm blobs...u didn't say anything about 5.1.1 blobs... U can't stitch 6.0 blobs to 5.1.1 IPSW... U need 5.1.1 blobs.. If u don't have them u can't do it..

If u waited to save them after apple quit signing 5.1.1 it's too late to get them now..

If u ever have to restore, without 5.1.1 blobs, you'll be forced to go to current IPSW...

right i was reading that TU saves the blobs from apple sever so can i get 5.1.1 blobs???

No... You have to save the blobs while apple is still signing that version.. Apple quit signing 5.1.1 about 4 days or so after 6 was out.. Too late now...

Yeah I know... Sorry I didn't catch that sooner! Didn't mean to get ur hopes up... I was equally dismayed when I got this replacement 3GS back when iOS 4.3 came out..I hated it..wanted 4.2.1 back..fortunately the replacement had 4.2.1 still on it. The guy who invented tiny also invented a way to dump the blobs directly off the phone so I could then build a custom signed 4.2.1 IPSW.. So I can now to go 4.2.1 any time I want..so I wouldn't give up hope yet..perhaps someone will do the same for 5.1.1

So as long a u don't have to restore...of course if u have to u get stuck going to 6 currently...it's too bad he stopped doing that at 5.0.1 and didn't carry that functionality through to now..
