    Default Downgrade 3GS from iOS6 to iOS5.x??
I don't want to, yet, but 6 broke an app I use daily... and I haven't yet found a decent replacement, so I'm going to be looking for a way of doing it at some time in the near future, I suspect. The Baseband has been updated from 05.16.05 to 05.16.07 so that's going to cause problems, possibly. I have saved out my SHSH blobs with the latest TinyUmbrella, just in case And, aside from that one app, I'm fairly pleased with 6, generally.

Anyway, I figured I would post here because sooner or later someone else is going to want a solution yesterday

If you haven't saved your 5.1.1 blob, it is too late now to get your shsh blob.

you can always use tinyumbrella to see if cydia has saved any of your 5.1.1 blobs

who knows it may have been saved and you just never noticed it

It doesn't appear to be as simple as just using your saved SHSHs. I'm getting error 11, but easily kicked out of recovery and back to iOS6. I've tried using a bog standard iOS5.1.1 and a NOBB iOS 5.1.1 (the latter, thinking I could just bypass the updated baseband). didnt work, and generated the same error on each. I'm not looking for a jailbreak or unlock, just want to get back to iOS5.1.1. I've had to turn data off entirely, I've gone through 4x my normal, with no increase in actual activity on the data. Don't like it, and there really isnt any real advantage to 6.

Anybody got any good ideas about how to get back to 5.1.1?

My apologies: I misunderstood what you meant by stitching blobs (and even if I knew, I would not have known how to do it)... but more reading revealed the details of the process and its now done, and my phone is being restored with its backup as we speak. Thanks.
