iphone 3GS unlock 4.3.5(8L1) / 5.16.02 BB
I bricked my earlier 3GS with the same specs and got a replacement phone now. Need to unlock it but not sure if it is possible.
These are the specs
Model : MB717L
Serial # QR141...NR
Version : 4.3.5 (8L1)
Modem Firmware : 05.16.02
Except the serial/model number I tried to unlock my earlier iphone and bricked with no imei/baseband displayed. Need help to see if this can be unlocked.
thank you.

Hi, look at the following. If your phone is week 40 or after (2011) then you cant do the ipad baseband or you will brick it
Typically, the serial number of iPhone is in the following format:
AABCCDDDEEF
For example, 88025xxxA4T, where the serial information can be decoded as following:
AA = Factory and Machine ID
B = Year of Manufacturing (9 is 2009/2019, 0 is 2010/2020, 1 is 2011 and so on)
CC = Production Week (01 is week 1 of B, 11 is week 11 of B and so on)
DDD = Unique Identifier
EE = Color (A4=black)
F = size (S=16GB, T=32GB)
