Thread: downgrade 3gs from ios4 to ios3

    Default downgrade 3gs from ios4 to ios3
I don't like ios4, it's kinda laggy and does not have the full iphone experience imo when the dashboard lag when shifting from one to another.

I heard that it's now impossible to do this as apple signs the firmware and also you are required to generate some ios3 signature file in cydia to accomplish this (something I don't have)

My iphone info from setting > general > about

    Version: 4.0 (8A293)
    Model: MC131B

Is it at all possible to downgrade?

As long as you monitor your RAM usage , close apps that are not in use, IOS 5 is way much better in terms of features

iOS 4.1 is still signed by apple, so no Shsh required for that on a 3GS, but you can use tinyumbrella, windows you can use ifaith as well to do this... Lots of different ways.
