Error 10

hey im new to Modmyi.so i need some help in here.

i have a 3gs old boot rom ios 4.3.3

i downloaded ios 5.0.1 and cooked it using snowbreeze.put it into DFU mode.
then launched itunes.shift+restore.

gave it the custom ipsw.
itunes extracted the ipsw the it says preparing iphone for restore.then it says waiting for iphone.after that verifying iphone restore.and BOOM it gives error 10.

I have changed the host to cydia.but i did not select the ipad baseband when cooking the custom ipsw.

i cant find whats wrong.
can anyone PLz help me?

Run TU, uncheck set hosts file to cydia and close TU .

thanks man.will it work because its a custom made ipsw.and have you heard about the firmware umbrella the one which lets you restore your firmware without itunes?
I cant find a link to download it if you get to know about a downloag link please let me know

You can use redsnow to cook a No_bb cfw of 5.0.1, put iphone into pwned dfu and restore to it without using TU .

im not familiar with redsnow.i normally use snow breeze.can you please tell me what redsnow version sould i download? then i'll get help from you to cook my ipsw. Thanks heaps man.
