iPhone 3GS need help

Hello, i bought my iPhone about a month back and i jail broke it on 5.0.1 untethered and i had it unlocked with the ultrasn0w 1.2.5 to use my orange Sim card because the phone is locked to o2, so this morning my phone was running slow so i thought i would restore my iPhone to 5.0.1 to start fresh and i got stuck on the activation menu because i was getting no service with my o2 Sim card, so i jail broken the phone with redsn0w 0.9.10b1 which let me use my phone but there was no service, so i then installed ultrasn0w again and no luck, i have re-flashed the iPad baseband and that didnt work either,
so could anybody help me getting signal on my phone i cant evan get signal with my o2 which the phone is locked to

doesnt matter now ive got it working, i dont have a clue what i did to get it working but ive done it

come back to 5.0.1 using custom firmware....

i have a same problem > my phone was unloked and jailbroked on 4.2.1 and worked fine . my kid upgaded to 5.0.1 and it couldn't find service ! I used redsnOw 0.9.10b3 and everything went well exept it still has no service . I had no problem activating and it all look fine but it still can't find my sim card ! I tryed two different SIM and nothing ! help pls !

apple is still signing 4.1 for iphone 3gs, restore with 4.1 firmware(use custom firmware),use redsnow (redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc18(or lateat) to jailbreak and flash baseband to ipad BB, now use ultrasn0w to unlock to check with sim)

on success use redsn0w(redsn0w_win_0.9.9b9d for 3gs old bootrom(or)redsn0w_win_0.9.10b3) to build 5.0.1 custom firmware and restore with it.
