Iphone 2.1 4.0 Stuck in Emergency Mode

After following the simple guides on the following threads, I still end up in normal DFU (Recovery Mode) with emergency call only. Cannot seem to go anywhere.

Did I miss something here?

Iphone 3GS Stuck in DFU and acting weird

My iphone 3GS is stuck in recovery mode, I need help!

Used redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc8 with iPhone2,1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore.ipsw. Process went thru and end up where I am right now.

Need advise!

UPDATE: Ok, finally got out of it. I used the latest redsn0w_win_0.9.9b1. Best redsnow so far!
