3gs no servicer after ultrasn0w / sam

Hi,

i have an iPhone 3gs with "no service"

Ive installed the jailbreak through redsn0w 0.9.6b6 on iOS 4.2.1
after that i installed SAM and did the whole activation process, but i didnt get service after that. i installed ultrasn0w and it didnt work.
this phone was working until hipstamatic crashed it and eversince i havent been able to get it to work with service again. please help me im really f**ked up.

the phone itself works i can install apps and do everything, except to make a call.

Please help me, im really stuck and i dont know what to do. If someone is ecperiencing the same issue please contact.

Just to verify, what modem baseband is installed?

Run redsnow again and do another iPad bb update.

Just iPad bb update and nothing else and reboot your iphone

You dont have to uninstall ultrasnow when u do this update

Check your carrier setting first to see if you are getting the right carrier setting for your sim.

ive tried doing that and it also couldnt restore my mobile connection.
Whatever i do im just not getting a signal.
Everybody on the forums, just installs 4.2.1 , then Jailbreaks, reboots, installs cydia updates, installs ultrasn0w, reboot, and then they have a signal. but with me this is very different.

ive tried nearly every possible method and my girlfriend is starting to question my geek (its her phone), since ive jb'd more than 100 devices and shes not feeling that she has to use her 3gs as an expensove ipod touch.

So someone like xcar98 or iyeow come and provide me with a walkthrough which YOU would suggest. Ive tried nearly everything

What carrier are you using ? If T-mobile. try turning off 3g

From Cydia , add this source : cydia.pushfix.info
Then do a carrier reset fix , remove the sim and reinsert it back.
Do this with Ultrasn0w already installed.

Hi. I have the same problem. 3G 8Gb 4.2.1 06.15.00 jailbroken with redsn0w and unlocken with ultrasn0w then used SAM and sim card not recognised by itunes. All the sim cards i insert are from different carriers. Al are recognised by the iphone but i get no signal with any of them. I have followed the above ie re done the baseband, cydia.pushfix.info. Nothing seems to help. Any more ideas?

This should work. Try setting it up as a 'new phone' in iTunes. Old (and corrupt) info could be in the iTunes backup.

i am having the same problem. i used resn0w 0.9.6rc16 to jailbreak. the got SAM from bingner. used redsn0w to de activate then used SAM too deactivate and itunes will lock for several minutes then not display my phone or anything. i have tried so many variants and nothing. now i have restored to original 4.2.1 ipsw and it shows the usb cable with an arrow to itunes thing
