Downgrade to 4.2.1 w/o SHSH

I have iPhone 3GS, new bootrom, baseband 06.15.00

I just updated it with sn0wbreeze2.3b2 with a custom 4.3 firmware and now noticed that ultrasn0w isn't working on it and I need to unlock it!!!

And I am so dumb that I have never saved SHSH or used tinyumbrella

Is there any way I can downgrade to the flawless 4.2.1 now using cydia or anything ?

Without shsh there is no way unfortunately.

It seems ultrasn0w doesn't want to work with 4.3, as another user reported. You should double check for SHSHs as you have nothing to lose. So get TinyUmbrella and check.

If not, then I suppose you're stuck for now until a more stable jb is released.

In your opinion Annie how long will it take for an unlockable jailbreak
or for ultrasn0w to work with 4.3 3GS new boot rom ?

Just download TinyUmbrella on your computer, plug your phone in, and click save SHSH. see what the log says.

I have no idea when a new stable jb will be out for 4.3. It normally doesn't take too long, but that is never definite.

It sayd I DO have something about iOs 4.1 ... I guess there is hope isn't there ?..

That means something is running on your computer that is blocking the tss server. Either find out what it is and close it or just try the downgrade without tiny umbrella.

I tried without TinyUmbrella to downgrade to the 4.1
It worked fine until the bar was completed under the apple logo in the phone screen
Then it gave me the 1015 error !!! Is there any solution for that ??

And I really can't figure out why the TSS button won't work
maybe this is why the kick out of recovery doesn't work either
any propositions ??..

If you're still getting this make sure to disable any firewall you have running on your computer, I found that my kaspersky internet security was blocking the tss server from running, after I disabled it the tss server button worked and the error didn't show. Maybe you have something similar.

Error 1015 is totally normal. It means it worked. Just use tiny umbrella to exit recovery after you get that error.

just now I discovered that 4.1 is not jailbreakable in the 3GS New Bootrom that pissed me off big time

It is jailbreakable and you have lots of tools to pick from. Limera1n is probably the easiest but redsnow 0.9.6rc8 is probably the best tool to use on 4.1.
