Iphone 3GS 4.2.1 05.13.04 bb HELP needed!

Hi, i just bought an iphone 3gs 16gig 4.2.1, 05.13.04 baseband and the guy i bought it from has no ideea if it was jailbroken or unlocked or if any of these operations were performed before on it. Right now it seems unlocked(i managed to insert 3 different career sims in it and get signal).
I want to jailbreak it. I only have the basic icons on the screen so it deffntly isnt jailbroken.
I tried backing up with TinyUmbrella then jailbreaking with greenpois0n and it worked fine no frozen images, but when it turns back on i dont have any LOADER icon anywhere. As if nothing changed on the screen layout.
When i restart the phone the Skullapple logo appears as if the jailbreak worked.
I want to know if theres somebody out there that could know a solution to my issue because i dont wanna try to do it on my own right now, affraid i might freeze it..

I meant to re-jailbreak with greenpois0n. If you still don't the loader icon, use redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 to jailbreak to get cydia, since you already used greenpois0n you will already be untethered.

I just tried doing that whole tutorial twice and once with manual selection of "install cydia" check box. still, nothing! It reboots and then starts as if nothing happend, no change of icons or anything.. im getting fustrated

Restore and rejailbreak. It sounds like it is factory unlocked but that I can't be sure of because the baseband looks to have been preserved. Why preserve the baseband if factory unlocked is what I'm wondering.

So you might want to play it safe and restore with a custom firmware if you're needing to unlock.

Edit: I forgot, try this before anything. Get redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 and jb and install Cydia. Then use Greenpois0n again after to untether jb it.

Why don't you email me at [email protected] I will send you custom Firmware already hactivated then you can update with Itunes ...... it 20 times more rebliable and easy.
