Default Need 3G Unlock Help...I'm Lost!

    Hi guys!

I was hoping someone might help me, or let me know if what I'm doing is even possible. I'm a T-Mobile customer and recently got a 3G with 3.1.3 software. I successfully downgraded to 3.1.2, but can't unlock to use with T-Mobile. I've done lots of reading, and now I don't if I can even get service.

    Here are my phone stats:

    Version 3.1.2 (7D11)
    Model MB499LL
    Modem Firmware: 05.14.04
    Bootloader Version 06.02[G2M3S2]
    Baseband Version ICE2-05.15.04

I've tried using Snow in BlackRa!n, Ultrasnow via Cydia and Fuzzyband...none of which gain cell service through T-Mobile. Is it even possible to get service on this phone? I'm pretty good with things for a girl, lol...but this has me stumped this time. I had no problem back in the day with my first-gen iPhone, but this one is killing me. If anyone has any info as far as if it can be done, or step-by-step instructions on what to do, please let me know...I'm getting desperate!

    Thanks Everyone!
    Carbon

I somehow got it on 6.15.00 modem firmware last night by upgrading to the iPad bb. Gonna keep trying for an unlock. Who knows at this point.

If you installed the ipad baseabnd, then open cydia, search for ultrasn0w 1.2, install, confirm, reboot, and you're done.

Yup. Got it all done today. 4.2.1 on the 6.15 iPad bb. Used ultrasnow and taadaa, the T-Mobile appeared and full signal. Thanks to the two people that actually replied compared to the 100+ people that viewed this thread, LoL.

It is extremely unlikely that the GPS on carbonm3girl iphone is working, because of the update to 06.15bb. You can check this thread to see what other users have said regarding updating to 6.15bb and GPS issues. 6.15 GPS Issues

Haven't even tried the GPS on the new install yet. I don't need it. All of my cars have GPS's and so does the iPad.

You most likely don't have gps, however the google maps app will work because it uses cell tower triangulation and wifi location. I also read that iAnnie had said that the garmin app will also work. If you have gps in your cars than no need no worries.
