How do I downgrade my IPodtouch, with out a computer? Can some one help me? I go to jailbrakeme.com, and it says, I need to downgrade and that the version is to new, can any one please help me. And it says I need to downgrade to version 4.0.1 or 4.0.2 can any one help me please

The software installed on your iPod (all the apps like Safari and Weather, music, photos, etc.) are all part of (or build off of) a firmware version. Your firmware version is apparently too new for jailbreakme.com to work.

Let's start here--what version of firmware are you running, and on what generation of device? You can check firmware version under Settings -> General -> About -> Version. If you do not know what model of device you have, please report the last four characters of the serial number (located in Settings -> General -> About -> Serial Number). In order for us to be able to help you, we must know what firmware version you use and what model of device you have.

Then you're not asking how to downgrade like your title and post says. Youre asking how to jailbreak. Then you see, you're on the wrong firmware. You have to be on 4.0.1 or below. So to use jailbreakme you have to downgrade. So you have to use a computer to downgrade... And you have go have SHSHs saved to do so.
