3GS stuck in recovery loop
I updated my 3Gs BB to 6.15, and to 4.2.1 firmware, using redsnow and then it all worked out fine but after a ssecond it just went into recovery. Ive tried Tiny umbrella, and i cant even restore it after putting it in DFU mode, error 3194 shows up, can someone please help me i need my phone back
Ive tried downgrading to 4.1 and error 3194 shows up, if i try restorign it to 4.2.1 then error 1015 shows up, both resulting in the same recovery mode screen on my iphone.

You need 4.1 SHSH to go back to 4.1. To restore to 4.2.1 you need to use a custom 4.2.1 made with pwnage tool.

you would need to have saved them when Apple was still signing 4.1

Ok, first you need to determine if you have a old or new bootrom 3GS. Download idetector from here to find out: iH8sn0w.com | Jailbreak your iPod touches and iPhones

Ok to get to 4.2.1 again you will need a custom 4.2.1. Do you have access to a Mac?

Nope, only windows, i heard if you downgrade to 4.1 the jailbreak is untethered, so id like a solution that goes in that direction, none the less, i just want my phone functioning again.

You cannot restore to 4.1 without 4.1 SHSH. You will be fine on 4.2.1 though since the jailbreak in untethered for old bootrom 3GS.

I have the same issue - stuck on the USB connect to iTunes screen.
I installed 4.1 a few days ago, did the whole 6.15 BB thing, jailbroke it, unlocked it and it was working perfectly fine. Then suddenly it crashed on me and was stuck on the apple logo screen.
I tried everything, then I downloaded this version of 4.2.1 and restored it. After that, the apple screen was gone, but then this stupid 'USB to iTunes' screen popped up. I tried to jailbreak it again using redsn0w 0.9.6b5, but it just doesn't work. I goes to the pineapple screen and says "flashing baseband" and then it just reboots and is back at the 'USB to iTunes' screen.
Can anyone help me go back to 4.1 with a custom version. iTunes isn't letting me go back to the regular 4.1 version because the authentication fails.
Hope you guys can help me. Thanks

I don't really understand what you mean I should do. I tried everything to get past the 'USB to iTunes' screen, but it just doesn't work. I tried downgrading using 4.1 and changing the IP address in the hosts file, so apple would authenticate the the restore file, then kicking it with TinyUmbrella, but it just doesn't work.
I probably bricked the phone or something

You can only downgrade to 4.1 (stock or custom-made) firmware if you have SHSH blobs for your particular device (iTunes "verifying restore with Apple" piece). If you did not get them via Cydia + Make my life easier or TinyUmbrella prior to Monday the 29th, you're not getting them now.
P.S.: If your baseband is 06.15.00 (or 05.13.04 or anything OTHER than 05.15.04) and you're trying to restore to a custom-made iOS 4.2.1, good luck. Try making or getting an IPSW without the baseband update in it (or more likely, an IPSW with the 05.15.04 baseband but already having the 06.15.00 one installed on your phone). I'll cook one up for you if needed.
