A quick (and maybe dumb) cuestion:
My friend just got his brand new iphone 3GS but he doesn't know anything about jailbreak.
I offer to do it for him, but i don't know if there will be any problem if I jailbreak it in my macbook and then he uses it, and sync it in his PC.
Do I need to sync his iphone in my iTunes to jailbreak it with Spirit in my mac?? iTunes doesn't do anything in the process, so I think not. Am I right?
If the phone is running 3.1.3 then he can do it himself. Tell him to download Spirit for Windows and launch it while his phone is plugged into it. 20 seconds later he has jailbroken his own phone. You can do it for him and there will not be any problems.
