Default Shsh file for 3.1.2 is the same for 3.1.3
I have a question here, after using USBview and Fw umbrella, I noticed both the Shsh file for 3.1.2 is the same for 3.1.3.

I thought every Iphone and version of FW has a unique Shsh.

Can you explain why please ?

not 100% but I would imagine the shsh file name would be the same for both with the exception of 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 because they are for the same phone...the information will be different in them because of the different firmwares

Yeah, you can try opening them with Notepad. You'll notice that they're different.

Yes, I looked at it with Notepad, they are different, someone requested the files, so I sent it to him, I doubt it will work for his 3GS New Boot rom.

The other day, I was messing around my jailbroken 3.1.3 3GS, it got stuck on boot logos, so I did a DFU mode and tried to restore back to custom 3.1.3 FW, it gives me an error 1604 right away. I decided to put it in Recovery Mode, and the process went through after verifying it, it gives me an error 4, I then used winpwn22 to kick it out of Recovery mode Loop and i was able to get back to jailbroken 3.1.3. I think the winpwn22 is a great tool to kick out of recovery. It is always good to use Custom FW to upgrade and maintaining the baseband 04.26.08 to unlock with Ultrasn0w.
