    Default Downgrade oddness

    Hi,

I helped my gf jailbreak her brand new 3GS with blackra1n, it went fine, until (after installing sbsettings) it got stuck in recovery mode.

My gf restored the phone using Itunes, putting it on the dreaded 3.1.3 firmware.
Previous to this, I did make sure to back up her SHSH hash with Cydia.

When trying to downgrade to 3.1.2, I put the phone into DFU and choose the local copy of the 3.1.2 firmware.
I have repointed the hosts file to Cydia, I still get the message "This device is not eligible... etc".

Is there any offline way to check if the Cydia back up of her hash worked?

    Many thanks,
    J

Apple stopped signin 3.1.2. So u can't downgrade. And u could have avoided all this when it entered recovery mode. Ur jailbreak is tethered on 3.1.2 meaning every time u reboot it'll enter recovery mode but if u rerun blackrain ittll go bak to normal.
    But sry dude
