    Default SHSH file deposit?

    Hi all.

I've just done a successful jailbreak on my 3GS - it remains at firmware 3.1.2.

I understand that there is no way to get my SHSH on file for the 3.1.2, as apple has stopped verifing that version. I have used the "make my life easier button" and now have a message on the top of the cydia home screen "This device has a pending TTS request"

Is there anyway I can at least get a 3.1.3 SSH file kept with Saurik without doing a restore or upgrade. I don't want to update the firmware, but figure that I might as well try to get some image in case at some future time the phone breaks and I have to do a full restore (and the current version is 3.1.4 or 4.0 or something like that)

Or can you only do the SHSH server thing when your phone is already running that version??

    Thanks

Don't worry, it's already in the works. The message you see means that Cydia is in the process of getting and storing your shsh file. It'll of course only get 3.1.3 since 3.1.2 isn't signed anymore.
