Getting ECID problem help please

i load up usb view in recovery mode and do the following steps



1) Download USBView
2) Start USBView on your PC.
3) In “options”, check off ”config descriptors” (enable).
4) Hit F5 on your keyboard
to refresh.
5) Scroll down until you see ”Apple Recovery (iBoot) USB drive”, and click on it.
6) Look for ECID in right navigation pane.
7) Copy the 16 digits that follow the ECID

BUT

when i get to step 6 i cant find the ECID in right navigation pane? why is this it just doesnt seem to be there
i am on firmware 3.1.2
i also have 3.1 shsh on file in cydia
please help me.

It's written on the long line that also lists your serial number (SRNM) and IMEI or iBoot version, depending on what mode your phone is in (recovery/DFU).
