    Default Obtain ECID from iPhone Backup

    I have located my iphone backup files on my mac and I found the one for my iphone 3gs when it had software version 3.0

    Is there any way I can get my ECID from this backup?

    i think backups only contain user generated data like contacts and notes and settings. i doubt any ECID info is stored in there.even when you restore i think itunes still contacts the apple servers for confirmation.
