help for jailbreak and unlock 3.0.1
Hi there,
I’ve a 3GS from Australia, with Ver 3.0.1.
I was trying to jailbreak it, which was successful.
I then tried to unlock it by going into Cydia, add source repco666.ultrasnow.com, download the package. But I forgot to continue with “install”.
When I put in the SIM, it doesn’t work, of course.
Then I found out I didn’t press the install button, I then did, but this time I was at a location when there was not wifi connection. So the install didn’t succeed.
When I got wifi connected, I can no longer see the ultransnow package.
At this point, I decided to Jailbreak and reinstall Cydia. I succeeded, but when I pressed the Cydia button, the screen shows “loading data”, then nothing.
Thanks

the repo source is a typo...which i think it is just a typo on here.
Anyhow, you need to get good wifi to access cydia.
Youre on the right track...check your wifi connection again.

Sorry SundayDuffer, I don't quite understand.
Yes, it should be ultrasn0w.
But even after I tried it again, clicking on Cydia won't do anything. Cydia just doesn't launch.
looks like Cydia is stuffed.
Any chance to remove Cydia and start from scratch again?
thanks

its repo666, not repco.
what i think the OP means is that his installation of Cydia is corrupted and wants to reinstall cydia, not asking if the Cydia "server" is up.

Yes, Madman604x, I want to reinstall cydia and start from scratch.
Do you know how to do it without (restore through itune which will force me to 3.1)?
thanks

Try running the jailbreak again.
