Error 1015 on Snowleopard/iTunes 9 PLZ Help
Hi Cracks,
I a am contionously running in the same problem during the Downgrade process saurik describes on his homepage.
My iPhone 3GS refuses to downgrade and the process ends up with an "Error 1015". Can anybody give me an advice how to proceed now. Currently my phone is somewhat bricked. Any tools for Mac available like the Quickpawn mentioned in another article which is limited in use to Windows users only.

If you get to the error 1015, just run the jailbreak(purplera1n or redsn0w) or iRecovery to bump it from recovery. Some people have had network issues by just going to the jailbreak. I had to use iRecovery first then do the jailbreak.
Hope this helps.

I've just used blackra1n to boot my phone out of the recovery loop. I have a 3.1.2 but no network (a glorified iPod ) so next step is to see if I can get it back to 3.1.3 and JB with Spirit. With the newer 5.13.x baseband I could be SOL of course :-/ but I really don't much like iOS4 so I'll keep trying
