MiWeather iOS 7 panorama background

I downloaded the MiWeather iOS 7 panorama and I really like the scrolling panoramic background. I am wondering if there is a mod that is in Cydia to replicate this background. I have tried panorama, pages, go desk and a few others and none of them seem to work. I want the exact type of background that is in MiWeather iOS 7

get rid of volume hud background

hi i would like to edit the volume hud for my phone but i cannot get rid of the the background also is there a way to move the volume bars on to the grey rectangle i have made (see picture). i tried editing the block.png in the springboard.app folder and made the resolution 320x480 and placed the block near the top but it just went lower and does what happens in the picture when changing volume. i tried using hud pro to disable the background but it disables the blocks aswell. does anyone know where the pngs are for the background or how to move the blocks im on ios 5.0.1 any help would be appreciated thanks

I'm trying to create and release my first theme. However there is on piece that I just cannot find. So, I thought I'd ask some of the best and most talented UI designers out there. The piece that is giving me problems is the lower part of the what I would call, the BarBottomLock. I mean it's there but when you push up on the small Phone Grabber the lower half isn't there. Attached is a screenshot. If you need me to clarify further, let me know.

Skinning Whatsapp [Need help]

Hi,

I decided to skin the Whatsapp UI. Though I'm able to change other elements like the 'send' button in the chat window, I can't say the same for the main chat screen (below). I skinned the file for this home screen and replaced it in the Whatsapp folder, but when I do a respring, the changes don't come into effect. When I open up Whatsapp after the respring, it just shows the skinned version for a second and then loads up the default.

Any idea as to what is wrong or how I can fix it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks (:

Dune theme question + custom icon question

Hi All,

two questions:

1. the Dune theme has different icons (PNG's) for the same item. Where do configure which one it should use? For the the badges, that can be done through winterboard. But how do you do that for instance for the unlock slider? I see different PNG's for the different parts of the slider, but where is it configured which one to use?

2. Custum icons.
I know the procedure how to add a custom theme with winterboard. When I look in the XXX.app directory of an app, I see a bunch of icons that could be used for the icon of that app. In the plist.info file I see all those PNG's listed in CFBundleIconFiles. How do you know which is the default one used by the app and thus the one to modify? Or do you have to modify them all?

UPDATE: Dock "Effect" Quick solution

Step one: install "no dock reflection" from cydia.

Step two: enable "transparent dock" in winterboard

Step three: Set background with translucent blur dock already in it as your homescreen background, but keep the normal one as your lock screen background. (it will take some placement on the homescreen"

Hide LS Battery Reflection?

Is there any way to hide the battery reflection on the LS? Besides using a blank battery

Ive googled it and only found articles on a tweak that did just that. However that is no longer available on Cydia apparently. I have Springtomize, and am dismayed it is not a supported feature.

If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks!

Remove Gloss From App Icon?

Im currently theming my theme and I have created all stock icons with no problem. However, I am now stuck with the non stock icons. When I theme these, it leaves a gloss overlay.

I have attached a screenshot and I have just tested Whatsapp.

What can be done about this?

I downloaded Elite 6 and everything working very well except the 3G and Wifi icons is not showing at all
when im connected to the wifi or if i have a 3g signal theres no icons in the status bar !!

[Need Help] HTML Lockscreen Help (making one)

Having some issues with a lockscreen I just made. I am probably going to dig through a few I've got to see if they're including something I haven't thought of but I've got one problem and a few questions...

My problem:
It's an HTML lockscreen and uses a few CSS features that I was surprised it supported - things like webkit's transforms (didn't seem to work with translate3d, but I may have been doing it wrong) and gradients. The lockscreen isn't "updating" or "refreshing" though when I hit the sleep/wake button to check it. It will update if I unlock the screen and re-lock it. Is there anything I need to be including to keep it updating in the background?

My questions:
Does iOS's mobile safari (which is what I assume is the engine running the HTML lockscreen?) support the new Battery Status API? ( Battery Status API ) It'd be really cool to come up with a way to retrieve the battery level from the device using javascript and use CSS to style say a fuel gauge needle to show empty or full or somewhere in between based on the value.

Is there anything else useful I can retrieve from the device through javascript to include on a lockscreen? I've seen people pull weather based on a zip code or something in the lockscreen's HTML, but I haven't planned on including weather on my lockscreens (although I may at some point).

is there an easier way to extract the icons for apps on my phone other than going into each folder via iFunBox/SSH and copy the file? Is there a way to batch copy them all at once? Preferably a way that I can copy them back easily after I've edited them all.

Hi all, could anyone help me fine tune this SB widget? untrue modified Max_pa1n's original widget using some of chevymusclecar's code so it would work again with the change in yahoo... However, some of the weather animations seem to be buggy, like the meteor animation seen below (They stay in one place and occasionally change directions):

I have spent quite a some time trying to revamp Max_Pa1n's boss weather widgets and here is the result. Sharing just SB (Winterboard) for now. Will post LS later.

Also, does anyone know any code that can prevent the weather from updating when the internet is disconnected? The widget linked below tries to update in airplane mode and shows "Internet ?!" in place of the weather and erases all forecast info. I'd like it to be able to continue to display the last known weather and forecast info when there is no internet connection (ie, Airplane mode/data off modes) instead of updating and showing "Internet ?!" and a blank forecast.

Just a quick question really,
does having the html style lockscreens with the widgets etc on them stop the ability to see the battery/charging screens because it's higher in the stack order and overlays it so it's still displayed but hidden behind the lockscreen?

or have i got something ordered wrong in winterboard?

Okay, I'm a noob when it comes to iOS theming and I've been reading up for awhile now and decided to give it a try. I've got every other single app icon done except Google YouTube and Google Maps, is there something I'm missing? I tried creating the folders in my theme "com.google.Maps" and "com.google.ios.youtube" do I need to do anything special? And yes I packaged them into a .deb, but even respringing doesn't do anything. Google Maps, and Google YouTube do not change from stock icons.

My apologies in advance if this has been asked before.

Hi ModMyi I have a question regarding the search-bar in apps, I just can seem to be able to theme and I would like a bit help to find out how to do it on iOS 5.0.1 for my iPhone 4! :)

I mean the search-bar that is present in the iPod App for example to search your songs, or more exactly the gray frame around it:

Is it possible via Winterboard or do I have to wrap my head around these .artwork files? :P

Weather for iWidgets not working

Ok, So I use HTC weather on iWidgets. And usually sometime in the morning I always respring. I respringed yesterday, and now the weather never loads. I tried like 5 different weather iWidgets and none of them work. I tried removing the widgets. I tried un installing iWidgets and reinstalling it. The weather still wont load.

Any ideas?
