So, you've downloaded Spire, but you want to get Siri functionality.

Spire is the Siri GUI port that was brought to use by Grant Paul and Ryan Petrich. It works on any iOS 5 iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch (excluding the iPhone 4S since Siri is already there). It isn't a full port; it is a GUI that lacks Siri functionality until the user gets that functionality themselves. There are a few ways to get that functionality. One way is to set up your own Siri server and use your own (or someone else's) iPhone 4S as the go-to to using Siri. This means that you will need to update your own server with new iPhone 4S keys daily.

If the daily routine of updating your server's keys sounds absolutely cumbersome to you, then there is the painless option of using Siri server hosts. Almost all of them support Spire. There are many ...

Siri has never been more open to customization; until now.

One thing that I'm sure many people want with Siri is the ability to make her as useful as their imaginations can whip up. Let's say, for example, you wanted to have Siri obey commands that you create all by yourself instead of the commands that Apple pre-loads into Siri. If this is the case, then you might want to check out a new jailbreak tweak dubbed MyAssistant by iOS developers Akhil Tolani and Andrea Olivia.

MyAssistant is the first step toward making Siri react to the words that you create - that's right, you can ...

Hey guys! Today we're going to be showing you a highly sought-after tweak by fabled iOS developer, Yllier. We originally showed you what it as supposed to do back in November when we posted a preview of it in beta stages. Since then, tons and tons of bugs have been hammered out and it has had a name change. A whole lot of other features have also been added. It is now called RingerX VIP and it's live in Cydia today for just $1.99 on the BigBoss repo!

What does RingerX VIP do? It has extremely deep integration with iOS to make sure that your ringer only rings when ...

See that little Twitter button in the bottom left corner of Notification Center?

Twitter is fun. iOS is fun. Apple put them together in iOS 5 with deep Twitter integration. One thing that Apple didn't include was the ability to make bare Tweets without adding some kind of photo or location. You normally need to jailbreak and compose a Tweet using Activator or some other third party tweak like TwitkaFly or the free TwitkaFly Lite. In fact, now we have another free jailbreak ...

Check out this new music interface!

One of the best things about owning an iDevice is the iPod usage that they have built into them. Apple is well known for their iPods, but they really don't focus their business on them anymore. Instead, we have these all-in-one gadgets like the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad that have virtual iPod functionality built into them. However, let's say you don't like the music interface of iOS. Well, we have an awesome new layout that we think you will love and it comes from fabled iOS developer DjKira. The application has been dubbed HomePlayer ...

Do you want to spice up your status bar?

In the past there have been multiple tweaks that allow you to change the carrier text on your iPod touch, iPad, or iPhone from AT&T/Verizon/Sprint/iPod/iPad, to basically anything that you wanted. This is a very common customization option for jailbreakers that has been widely accepted. But today, we have stumbled upon a tweak that doesn't just change your carrier text, but it replaces it with a logo of your choice. The ...

Are tons of backgrounded applications annoying you?

If you're a perfectionist that hates when you have several applications running in the background when you put your iPhone or iPod touch to sleep or turn it off, then you will probably like this tweak. It's called WeeKillBackground Pro for NotificationCenter by the same developer that brought us ProTube, Jonas Gessner. It is just what you're looking for if you want a nice and easy way to kill all applications from the background in one tap.

    As you ...

There aren't really too many different options.

The iOS lock screen is normally shown with a white slide to unlock knob that has a gray arrow inside of it. But, with a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed ColoredKnob by iOS developer c0d3, you can change that boring color to something different. Exciting; right?!

One thing you might be expecting is the ability to change the knob to just about any color that you please. But, instead ColoredKnob uses the two ...
