If you would like to add some color to your volume HUD (heads-up display) in iOS 7, then we've got a cool new jailbreak tweak to show you. It's called ColorfulVolume by iOS developer ryebread761 and it allows you to add a hue of color to your volume HUD, as shown above.

ColorfulVolume adds a preferences pane to your Settings application where you can configure it to your liking:

From here, you can do such things as enable or disable the tweak on demand to go from colorful or boring whenever you want to, choose the RGB color that you want to use by way of three sliders, ...

If you've seen the iOS 8 beta already, then you know that the upcoming quick reply functionality for text messages and iMessages is going to save you a lot of time so that you won't have to unlock your device and visit your Messages application to reply to incoming messages, or close out of the application you're in to reply to incoming messages.

iOS developer Mohamed Marbouh has just released a new jailbreak tweak called Interactive Message Notifications that allows you to bring this great quick reply functionality to iOS 7 in the form of the iOS 8-styled interface, as shown above.

We just got done showing you LSWeather by iOS developer whynot, which allows you to put the current weather conditions outside on your iOS 7 Lock Screen where the slide to unlock text usually appears, but it's also worth noting that the same developer has also just released another jailbreak tweak called StatusbarWeather7 that allows you to put weather information in your iOS 7 Status Bar, and just like LSWeather, this tweak is pretty elegant.

StatusbarWeather7 will allow you to either place the outside weather conditions right next to the time in your Status Bar, or you can replace the carrier ...

If you're the type of person that likes keeping tabs on the weather conditions outside, but feel that the information could be made more readily available to you than by way of an application, then check out a new jailbreak tweak called LSWeather by iOS developer whynot.

With LSWeather, which is shown in action above, you can replace the slide to unlock text on your Lock Screen with the weather conditions outside. It can show such information as the temperature outside, the high for the day, the low for the day, your current location, and even the weather conditions outside.

    The ...

In iOS 7, SpotLight search is accessed by pulling down on your application icons. Whether or not you use SpotLight is something you'll have to decide for yourself, but whether you do or not, you can take advantage of a neat new jailbreak tweak called Aslock by iOS developer Cunstuck.

Aslock lets you use the SpotLight swipe gesture in iOS 7 for multiple things. You will still be able to open SpotLight with it, but depending on how you treat the gesture, you can also open your multitasking gesture or lock your device using the same gesture.

For example, you can pull down on your Home Screen application ...

Screensavers were introduced originally for computers to help prevent the burning of images into older CRT and plasma displays after being shown for a long period of time. On modern displays, this is much less of a problem, but we still like having screensavers to not only remain on the safe side, but also to give us a nice standby visual effect on the display for when we come back.

If you want to add a timed screensaver to your iOS device too, then check out a new jailbreak tweak called Daydreaming (ScreenSaver) by iOS developer Youssef Eid.

With this tweak installed, you can make your device display a screensaver after a certain ...

One of the things you can do in Apple's Mobile Safari Web browser that you can't do in Google's Chrome browser for iOS is use swipe gestures to move forward and back through your history of opened Web pages.

A new jailbreak tweak called browserswipe by iOS developer twodayslate is here to fix that. With this tweak installed, you will be able to swipe from the left side of the display over to the right to go back, or swipe from the right side of the display over to the left to go forward just like you can in Mobile Safari.

It's worth noting that this tweak doesn't add ...

Google's Gmail application for iOS limits you to having five Gmail accounts in your application at once. It seems like such a silly restriction, especially for those with multiple Gmail accounts, such as Cydia developers that have a different support e-mail for each jailbreak tweak they release.

A new free jailbreak tweak called UnlimGmail by iOS developer SuperNova is now available that makes it so you can remove that silly ...

There is an accessibility option in iOS 7 called "Button Shapes" that attempts to make navigation buttons easier to see in the flatter user interface style of iOS 7. When you enable this option, all other buttons in iOS 7 will appear with underlines under the labels, as you can see in the screenshot example above.

A new free jailbreak tweak called NoButtonShapeUnderline by iOS developer nin9tyfour will remove the ugly underlines from those button labels, but still allow you to keep the somewhat cool-looking button shapes for your navigation buttons. Shown above, you can see how the tweak removes the underlines from your ...
