The application is called Lucid Player and you can find it in the App Store for just 99¢.

You’ve probably never seen the iOS Emojis displayed in the screenshots above – this is because they are only available in iOS 5.1+ or Mac OS X Lion+ and Apple never gave us access to them (what else is new?). The additional Emojis play nicely with the Emojis you already have access to, however anyone on iOS 5.0.1 or older or using Mac OS X Snow Leopard or older will not be able to see these Emojis if you use them, so you will have to be selective to whom you send them to.

If you’re an iPad user and you think the small banners on the large screen are awkwardly sized, there is a new free tweak in Cydia dubbed NCPad by iOS developer thekirbylover that will give the notification banners an iPhone/iPod touch feel even on the iPad by extending them completely to either side of the screen. The banners retain their great look and still appear, as you would expect them to. You can see the tweak in action with the screenshots above.

When it comes to iPad cases, there are a few types to choose from. Today we’ll be looking at a sleeve-type case from Piel Frama. The ‘Pull’ case for the iPad 2 is from the same line as the iPhone 4/4S case we reviewed a while back.

As always, Piel Frama comes through with a top quality product. It can be seen immediately from the lovely packaging that it comes in. The Pull case for the iPad 2 comes in nice embossed box which makes the case look exactly what it is, a quality product.

The case is genuine cowskin leather and hand made ...

The original PasswordPilot jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Filippo Bigarella made it to our list of Ten Great Jailbreak Tweaks for the iPhone because of the convenience that it brings to downloading applications. It’s convenient because it keeps us from having to type in our App Store password each time we download applications or attempt to update our applications. While the tweak was great, Filippo wasn’t done with the project and has just released a Pro version in Cydia.

    Unlike PasswordPilot, ...

Without question, the iPhone has helped save an awful lot of trees. With apps and other digital tools designed to help keep people on track and on schedule with their tasks and appointments, traditional print calendars and paper planners are disappearing fast.

But just because a plethora of iOS apps have helped to hasten this reality, it doesn't mean that all of them are worth owning, let alone paying for. Fortunately, when it comes to the newest creation from ...
