Last week ModMyi showed you a free jailbreak tweak called TitleSpeak that could be used to speak the titles of banner notifications. Granted it was free, speaking only the banner notification title isnít as useful as speaking the whole notification. The same 13 year old developer behind TitleSpeak has brought us another free jailbreak tweak dubbed VSNotifications and it includes many more features including those of TitleSpeak.

Being that VSNotifications has many more features, it has the grounds to compete with other jailbreak ...

For those of you that enjoyed great jailbreak tweaks in the past such as Aloud and SpeakEvents, TitleSpeak is a new free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer iHackerMe that allows your iOS device to speak banner notification titles out loud using Siri's voice.

TitleSpeak is intended to be a simple add-on to compliment the notification sound you have set for notifications; it won't silence the notification sound, which is a great feature of the tweak. ...

Letís face it. Appleís banner notifications are gorgeously implemented, but they need some customization for those people out there that like colors in their lives. A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed BannerBorders by iOS developer Sirifl0w gives you a ton of options for setting your own banner borders on the banner notifications and work for all banner notifications no matter what application is notifying you.

The tweak does several things, but we will start by telling you that you can choose the color of the banner border. Shown ...

From Appleís Mail application in iOS, you can either view all of your E-mail in one unified inbox that contains messages from every single mailbox, or you can view your E-mail messages in their own e-mail mailbox folders such as Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail. Itís easy to tell messages apart when youíre in the mailbox folder dedicated to one E-mail account, but when youíre in the unified e-mail inbox, itís difficult to tell which E-mail account each of the messages ...

Some of you are probably as big of Spofity junkies as I am, leaning toward the music streaming method instead of downloading music and syncing it to your iPhoneís Music application through iTunes. A new free jailbreak tweak called SpotiPlay by iOS developer Fllorent0D aims to make life easier for us Spotify folk by making Spotify iOSí default music player application.

The tweak will make it so the iPod controls from the multitasking ...

When using the iOS keyboard, you may have noticed that between the extra symbols keyboard and the numbers keyboard, the second to last row of keys is exactly the same. Being that this is a redundant set of keys, a clever iOS developer by the name of iAmharic thought it would be useful to replace this row of keys with Emojis! The new tweak is free and it's called QuickEmoji.

As shown above, the whole row is completely replaced by Emojis only on the extra symbol ...

If youíre not big on using SpotLight (like most of us), then give this new free jailbreak tweak a try. Itís called NCLight by iOS developer Bradley Friedman (S1ReX). The tweak doesnít completely disable SpotLight, but it will open Notification Center when you swipe over to SpotLight.

When you swipe to SpotLight, you will see the interface for a brief second and then Notification Center comes flying down the screen to the rescue. As soon ...

Last month, ModMyi showed you an application from Cydia, called Bridge ($1.99), which could be used to import media files to Apple's own media applications such as Music, Videos, and Podcasts. Normally, this function can only be carried out by iTunes, which is a major inconvenience for anyone that hates using the application because of its slowness. The advantage of using an on-device application to import media to the applications includes having the freedom of not using iTunes and also, being able to import ...

A new jailbreak tweak is in Cydia today called iWidgets by iOS developer eldwin and as the name suggests, itís going to give you widgets. Shown above are the two default widgets that the tweak comes with Ė a clock widget and a calendar widget. These widgets are made from HTML and you can interact with them while they are on your home screen. If they look familiar, it's because they are; these are nearly identical to the Mac OS X dashboard widgets.

    To add widgets ...

Most of you are familiar with Jonas Gessnerís ProTube application, which brought YouTube to a whole new level of usability and customization on jailbroken iOS devices. Today, Jonas has launched ProTube 2, which uses Googleís own YouTube application instead of creating another application icon.

ProTube 2 adds a new cell to the YouTube application for downloads, which when tapped, will launch your download manager interface. From the download manager interface, you will be able to see a history of all of your YouTube downloads. You can delete any of the videos ...
