A little more than one year ago, Apple unveiled the long awaited and once mythical tablet that promised to change mobile computing as we knew it. Since then, 15 million iPads have been sold. And on Wednesday morning at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California, Apple CEO Steve Jobs returned from medical leave (at least for today) to introduce his company's second generation iPad. "We've been working on this product for a while, and I didn't ...

With the iPad 2 release just a couple hours away, the tech world is reviewing all the rumors that have been swirling around for months about the new model. Some people are doing more than that, though: apparently the sports book mavens at Bookmaker.com have set a line for the possible features that may be introduced. Their guesses are in line with mainstream opinion, though with Apple's penchant for secrecy it could be that someone betting against the line could have a big win.

Bookmaker.com is a major sportsline site: the American arm of the giant BetCRIS online gambling empire based in Costa Rica. ...

Mac OS Lion looks like it will be a very impressive update when it’s released this summer. A new feature called “All My Files” allows you to see all of your files in one place and can then be organized by file kind, date created, or the last time the file was opened. The icon for this app is rather small onscreen, however, a larger version can be found hiding inside the operating system. It contains a hidden tribute to Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, if you look hard enough.

Definitely take this one with quite a few grains of salt, but there's a small chance that Amazon.de may have accidentally leaked the iPad 2 specs a bit early.

AllThingsD has just posted an interesting article, discussing the rumor that Steve Jobs is "definitely mulling" appearing on stage alongside his fellow Apple executives to show off Apple's new product and software, most likely the iPad 2, and a preview of iOS 5. As Mr. Jobs is on medical leave as he battles a form of pancreatic cancer, it was widely expected that Apple COO Tim Cook would run the show, and Jobs ...
