Microsoft is serious - to the tune of $8.5 billion - about better competing against the likes of Apple and Sony when it comes to everything from mobile phones to video game consoles. Stop the presses. The Queen of England has an iPad. And rumor has it, she got it for free (don't you just love it when people with a gazillion dollars get stuff for free?).

As it turns out, Her Royal Highness was turned on to the tablet by her grandsons, Harry and William, who are said to be equally enamored of the touchscreen device - ironic, especially since the Royals aren't ones to ...

Apple's overall rise in popularity worldwide has skyrocketed and has really shown in the past couple weeks. The Fortune 500 even ranked Apple extremely high even though giants like Walmart are still up as number one. Even with competition from Microsoft and Google's campaign for Android, Apple has continued to strive for greater heights and has not been tired out or broken down by any means. ...

The iPhone 4's namesake can spell a lot of confusion for the novice gadgeteer. The inclusion of the 4 may cause the less knowledgeable to assume it has 4G network capabilities, like a number of it's 4G Android competitors. Korean Telecom (KT) eliminated any confusion, and subsequent disappointment, for their customers today with the release of it's new WiMax capable sleeve the "Egg."
