By far the most reputable we've seen though is Negri Electronics, whom we've known for years. They've been selling unlocked phones for years, and are trustworthy ...

We reported that AT&T was cracking down on tethering 3 weeks ago, and it looks like they're up to it again. Based on forum comments, we've summarized what we're seeing from AT&T.

Reports are surfacing that some iPad 2 owners using Verizon's 3G network seem to be having difficulties connecting to the network. So far the problem seems to be isolated to the 3G model iPad 2. Wi-Fi models do not appear to be affected by this problem as these models do not connect to Verizon's 3G wireless network anyway. Thankfully, this problem does not seem to be affecting any AT&T users.

If you're one of the users with a late model MacBook Air (2010+), you probably noticed the glaring bug in 10.6.7. Open a MacBook Air running 10.6.7, open iTunes, and play a song. Within a minute or two, your laptop is completely frozen, and the only thing to do is a hard reboot. I haven't used my iTunes on the MBA in a couple weeks because of this.

With touchscreen "real estate" increasingly at a premium on iDevices, Apple is looking into ways of moving controls off the screen entirely, according to a newly unearthed patent. The "selectively illuminated secondary display" described in the patent would use illuminated symbols on the bezel (the black area around the screen) to enable additional touch-sensitive areas, allowing a user to do things like ...
