    Is Apple getting ready to kill off the 8GB iPhone 3G? According to Boy Genius Report - whose Apple sources are generally pretty good - the company has stopped shipping the low-end model to AT&T ahead of an expected June launch of the fourth-generation iPhone. If true, the move would be in line with product cancellations ahead of previous new model releases.

    Today our friends at Elgato introduced the EyeTV HD, a pretty nifty video-capture device that lets you watch and record both standard and high definition programs (from cable or satellite) on your Mac. According to the manufacturer, the $200 EyeTV HD links up with your Mac (via USB) through the component video and analog audio outputs from your cable box or DVR.

    A BestBuy employee is "confirming" that Sprint is about to carry the iPhone. And a formal announcement about the carrier welcoming the iPhone to its 4G network could come as early as next month's WWDC conference, which - as we learned today - will kick off June 7th with a keynote address from Apple CEO Steve Jobs.     For those who have been waiting impatiently for video calling, there's one more clue suggesting that the long-awaited feature is coming on the next-generation iPhone.
