Apple has a new patent entitled "Auto Messaging to Currently Connected Caller." The patent focuses around the potential to send documents, emails, txt msgs, files, etc. to the person on the other end of the line while you are in call.
The data could be sent through various means like GSM, GPRS, Edge, Wi-Fi, WiMax and Bluetooth. Apple's interface would provide users with a way to access
Apple doesn't have enough iPhones being produced to meet customer demand. Rogers (Canada) is advising potential iPhone 3G and 3GS customers that they are out of stock and that the device will be back in stock and available for sale in coming weeks. Fido (subsidiary of Rogers) is also saying the same thing.
Rogers Spokeswoman Liz Hamilton commented on the shortage saying
Earlier today Apple accidentally posted the Snow Leopard box set (product #MC209Z/A) for sale in the Apple Store. Even though the error was quickly caught and the box set was taken off the store some folks quick on the draw caught a screenie (image above).
On Tuesday European Commission officials reported that Apple is investigating the reports of exploding iPhones. Apple is claiming that the exploding iPhone issues are isolated and not a general problem.

Well if you thought that deleting emails on the iPhone meant you were deleting emails you were wrong. A new security bug has revealed that when you delete emails on the iPhone it doesn't delete them, it just makes them slightly harder to read.

Word is that SlingPlayer for iPhone 1.1 has been submitted for App Store approval. This update provides a few new features including 3G streaming worldwide minus the US AT&T users. Facebook.app is getting some much needed updates and a fresh look very soon. The iPhone app's developer (Joe Hewitt) tweeted he had uploaded the 3.0 version of Facebook.app to the AppStore for approval Sunday, and is even more excited for 3.1, which he's working on now.
It's got a ton of improvements (hence the solid jump in versioning to a full 3.0), one nice feature being video upload
Last week MMi member sayam posted this story and it showed off the expected disc art. Well now there is more evidence to support this story. Pictures were sent to MacRumors with claim to be the Portuguese version of Snow Leopard including the box art and disc art.
Snow Leopard also brags about Microsoft Exchange and 64bit support.
Priced at a wallet-crunching $99.99, TomTom U.S. and Canada is just as good as the TomTom products - with a few big usability features that shine, mostly benefits of the iPhone OS itself. Pinch and zoom on the map works as expected, as well as plugging in an address from your recent searches or anyone
PushMail is a new app available on the AppStore, created by a developer named Simon Patarin. Generally, I don't use apps on my iPhone / iPod Touch much but this one with it's nice and simple productivity features surprised me.
The app does one thing, and does it well - gives you a PUSH notification whenever you receive a new e-mail.
