Ticonderoga Securities, using their trusted "Apple Barometer," reported Apple had "strong growth year-on-year for April," with sales up 113% compared to the same month last year.

These numbers aren't raw sales numbers on products shipped, but rather measure sales of component suppliers to Apple in their supply chain. The logic is if Apple needs to purchase more supplies (LCDs, touch screens, etc) ...

    File this under amazing.

Nicholas J. Bryan and Ge Wang, students at Stanford University, have developed an application that turns your iPhone into a piece of scratchable vinyl. Instead of using time-coded vinyl to manipulate your digital music catalog through a program, the application uses the accelerometer and gyroscope of the iPhone, while attached to the turntable, to manipulate the desired track.

Sometimes there is a subtle cue, a moment when an individual's poor choice of words hints at future products. Then sometimes those hints take the form of a neon wink, followed by a kick to the balls, and a back flip out of the room on to a tie-dye unicorn.

Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, pulled the latter.

Bezos, when asked in an interview by Paul Reynolds of Consumer Reports, if amazon would be putting out a non-kindle ...

The leaks continue. Apple.pro posted pictures they obtained of both the forward-facing, and rear-facing cameras on the next iPhone 5G or 4S or whatever. Apple.pro included a photoshopped mock-up (pictured above) of what the divorced components would look like.

The leaked photos support rumors, and reports that the next generation iPhone will separate the flash, and camera components on the rear of the ...

Last night, as chronicled in a swelling exchange of comments in Apple Support Communities, iTunes activation servers apparently went down, a situation that resulted in countless bricked iOS devices. As we understand it, the bricking took place upon upgrading the iOS device's firmware to the newest version (either through iTunes or restoring). Subsequently, however, iTunes mysteriously failed to connect ...

A well-known Chinese trading website has presented what they call the "newest design crystal case for Apple iPhone 5g." Images of the case in question can now be found at Alibaba.com. Although they are showing what is, admittedly, a mock-up of the fifth-generation iPhone, the visible attributes are worth noting.

Refusing to disappear from the rumor-mill are assertions that the next generation ...

Given the minor cosmetic changes we've all anticipated, the refreshed touchscreen handset will be released as the iPhone 4S. ...
