Digitimes is reporting Foxconn, Apple's largest manufacturer, is producing 150,000 iPhone 5s a day leading up to the device's launch.

While Foxconn's production is going full-tilt, the number of units being produced still isn't the volume Apple likes leading up to the holiday shopping season. However, Digitime's sources noted that "Lens maker Largan Precision, touch panel maker TPK Holding, ...

Last week a Chilean Military plane crashed somewhere off the Island of Robinson Crusoe. The plane attempted to make two emergency landings before being blown off course and crashing. All 21 people on board were killed instantly.

Four bodies were recovered by authorities shortly after the accident, but 17 of the victims remain unaccounted for. While a great deal of extremely expensive equipment ...

WebOS's demise was ugly, quick, and unforgiving. For an operating system as promising as WebOS, it deserved better. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel for those who loved the little things that made WebOS special, like its "Card" based app switching. That light is the iOS jailbreak community.

CardSwitcher is a $1.99 tweak that does exactly what it's name implies: ...

According to PocketNow, the sushi pictured above, has an extremely high probability of being the first photo taken with an iPhone 5 to surface.

    Kind of underwhelming dontchya think?

Apparently the photo's EXIF data indicates that it was taken with an iPhone 4, but like always, dig a little deeper and things get interesting. The image appears to have been cropped, with its original size being 8 megapixels, ...

Given how long it's been since Apple last rolled out a new mobile device, expectations are high ahead of the looming iPhone 5 reveal, which may possibly transpire before the end of this month. The latest rumor from the tech community, however, has nothing to do with the 5th-generation iPhone. Instead, this one says a modern must-have mobile attribute may finally be coming to one of Apple's oldies but ...

This weekend marks the 10th anniversary of the tragic terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Ahead of the solemn memorials that will commence over the coming days, the app developer world is churning out several iOS applications that honor the memory of lives lost on 9/11 and revisit Ground Zero in New York York on that terrible day ten years ago.

Jake Barton, the lead media designer ...

International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union President Jim Hoffa has some tough words for both Apple and US President Barack Obama. According to Hoffa, Apple is "unpatriotic" for investing more of its vast reserves of cash into China than in the US. Hoffa adds that President Obama should do something about it. No specific instructions, however, were given by Hoffa other than to say Obama should "attack" companies ...

A staple component in the iOS jailbreak community is the ability to theme and artistically customize your device; hands down. There are a lot of great themes out there for people to choose from so most people are currently satisfied with the current themes. But, they are always excited for new releases. I can imagine however that many of us would like to start "designing" if you will our own iDevice experience. Maybe there's lack of Photoshop or some other ...

The tech world was rocked late Tuesday by the announced departure of another high-profile CEO - Yahoo chief executive officer Carol Bartz. The announcement, however, came as little surprise following weeks of rumors and reports that Bartz - a controversial figure to say to the least - was on the fast-track out of the company.

Obviously frustrated and angered by her removal - and, ostensibly, ...

Sometimes when viewing a webpage in Safari on your iDevice, you can have trouble reading the font and possibly even squint. All of us have experienced one way or another and can relate to this issue. Some have resorted to the "easy" solution by just zooming on the page. Although this is somewhat of a fix, zooming in takes you away from the entire page itself thus kind of ruining the easy viewing experience. Don't bother zooming in on the page anymore when you can use Magnifier for Safari, a recently released tweak that allows you to adjust the ...

Undoubtedly, the number one complaint people have with the Mail.app on any iDevice is that you can't attach and send files. There are ways to send pictures and videos, but other than that, you're stuck with no functionality in that regard. A recently released tweak in Cydia, called AnyAttach, gives the user functionality to add files to your emails. Not only does it support pictures and videos, but it supports any type of file.

With AnyAttach installed, inside an email composition window, a paper clip button appears on the subject line. When you tab that button, it brings up ...

First the DOJ leveed an antitrust suit against AT&T in regards to the company's attempt to purchase T-Mobile. Then the FCC came out and said "Yea, we can support that lawsuit." Now Sprint is throwing the last stone at an already shattered house, piling on, performing an excessive touchdown celebration on AT&T's shattered dreams, with their latest suit against the proposed acquisition.
