Thursday wasn't such a good day for the folks at Kodak. It was, however, a most auspicious occasion or Apple and RIM. As the Wall Street Journal confirms this evening, the U.S. International Trade Commission did not grant Eastman Kodak Co. a deciding win in its patent battle with Apple and Research in Motion Ltd. As a result, Kodak's shares plummeted 16%.

In early 2010, Kodak first accused Apple and ...

Lifehacker has posted a nifty little guide that allows Mac users to lock and unlock their computers simply using any bluetooth capable device. The idea is that when the bluetooth device comes in range of the Mac, it would unlock your Mac without the need for user interaction. And when you leave the area, your Mac would lock on its own.

The guide requires the use of a utility ...

A recent blog post by Aaron Ash (@aaronash) gives us a small look into what he was been working on. Under the alias "Polyonix", Aaron has been working on a tweak exclusively for the iPad that allows multiple iPhone application windows to run at the same time. This can come in handy for whatever applications you use.

The tweak itself is in its early stages but has a ton of potential. Having talked with Aaron directly, he has many more upcoming implementations. From the picture above, one ...

    revi-krs
    Chris (KrsChris)

If your looking for something that is clean, sharp and gives great contrast, revi-krs may be just the theme your looking for. The theme comes available on Cydia and ThemeIt.

More often then not you'll see themes tend to be overdone and a bit on the cluttered side, which lets this theme stand on it's own. By keeping things minimal, it also allows for a much smoother interaction on your device when enabled.

In addtion to the theme comes a beautiful weather widget, however it will require a bit of setting up to work just the way ...

Along with the bevy of reports in the last forty-eight hours that many popular third-party Apple retailers were running extremely low on Apple’s consumer-level laptop, the MacBook, there are some reports that this supply constraint is not indicative of an upcoming refresh, but instead a planned discontinuation.

An argument can be made that if the entry-level MacBook Air, priced ...

The Notes.app is great for writing quick notes or ideas down for future reference. However, if you want to share the contents with other people/users, it is more difficult then it may appear. Having to select all, copy, and then paste in the respective place can be cumbersome. Also, if you have you a character limit ( i.e. Twitter) or want to make a URL of the contents, it adds much more clean-up on the wording and extra steps. Glue by Joshua Lee Tucker (@DarkMalloc) (not to be confused with me) adds a unique feature ...

Sometimes I wonder who on this beautiful and vast planet of ours is in charge of things at Best Buy. Whether it's blatantly lying to customers about a products functionality, or opening an Xbox 360, installing a firmware update, and then repackaging the system as "pre setup" and charging $30 more, they never cease to amaze me.

Which is why this shouldn't surprise me either.

Usually when purchasing cables I shy away from name-brand anything. If anyone in a big-box retailer even begins to utter the the words "Monster Cab--," a swift gut-check mutes those horrible words from coming out of their mouth.

So I approached the pricing of Apples recently released Thunderbolt cable with the reluctant optimism of Charlie Brown trying to kick a football. Fifty dollars is large chunk of change ...
